WSCD April 2016 - Two Southland students competed in the Region 10 Work Skills Challenge Day in Austin, MN. The students competed against 30 other high school students from Austin, Albert Lea, Northfield in three areas: filling out a job application, completing a mock interview, and general work knowledge. The event also connected students with agencies and services in the area that could be beneficial to them now or throughout their lives. Winston Gruenhagen (left) took second place in Applications and Southland was named Overall Champion. Bradly Johnson (center) and Work-based Learning Coordinator Heather Schutte (right) are holding the plaques awarded to Southland. Nice work on a job well done!
