Post-secondary Pathways
A pathway refers to a person's individual educational planning which includes experiential learning, school and community supports, courses and programs that lead to a successful transition from grade-to-grade and then to an appropriate post-secondary destination (apprenticeship, college, community living, university, workplace). It is important that the IEP team and the student is selecting a pathway that is appropriate to the education strengths and needs of the student and that the parents are in agreement with the selection. The following are brief overviews of the various pathways that students can consider for the education and training that they plan to acquire before they start their career:

Enrollment at Next STEP takes place at the beginning of the school year and at each consortium district's quarter or semester change.
